Free Printable Valentine's Day Bingo Cards for Class Parties and Couples

Quick answer

Valentine's Day bingo uses cards filled with words like Cupid, Roses, Chocolate and Be Mine. The caller draws words one at a time, and players mark matches with candy conversation hearts or red markers. The first player to complete a row, column or diagonal wins. It's a favorite for elementary class parties and senior center socials in February.

48 unique words. Each card uses 24. More words means more varied cards.

Every card shows an ID like START-001. Enter the same set code with the same settings to rebuild the exact same cards and check a winner.

Valentine’s Day class parties tend to follow a script: pass out cards, eat a cupcake, and then try to fill the last 20 minutes. Valentine’s bingo solves that last part, and it’s just as popular at senior centers and church socials as it is in second grade. In 2027, February 14 falls on a Sunday, so expect parties on Friday the 12th.

How do you play Valentine’s Day bingo?

Standard bingo rules apply, with sweet words instead of numbers.

  1. Print a card for every player using the generator above.
  2. Cut the word list at the bottom of the page into slips and put them in a decorated shoebox “mailbox.”
  3. The caller draws a slip and reads it out: “Be Mine!”
  4. Players cover the matching square with a conversation heart or a red marker.
  5. The first player with five in a row, in any direction, calls “Bingo!”

The center square is free.

How many Valentine’s bingo cards do I need?

Print one per student or guest, plus a few spares for siblings, room parents or the principal who drops by. A class of 22 needs about 25 cards. Every card from the generator is unique. Pink or red cardstock looks great, and the cards make a cute take-home souvenir.

Variations to try

  • Heart pattern round. After a straight-line game, play the heart pattern. Players need to cover a heart shape to win.
  • Kindness bingo. Each time a student marks a square, they share a compliment for a classmate. It turns the game into a friendship activity.
  • Couples’ bingo. For adults, use the custom bingo card generator to make squares about your relationship: first date spot, favorite song, the time you got lost on vacation.
  • Galentine’s bingo. Gather friends for brunch and play with this list plus a few inside jokes.

Tips for classrooms

  • Watch for allergies. Conversation hearts contain common allergens for some kids. Pom-poms or paper hearts are safe markers.
  • Every child goes home happy. Keep a small treat for everyone and a special pick for winners.
  • Practice reading. Words like Love, Red, Heart and Hug are simple sight words. Our sight word bingo cards build on the same skills.

The classroom bingo guide covers managing a big group, calling pace and fair prize rules.

Valentine’s bingo for seniors

Senior communities often hold a February social, and bingo is the main event. Print cards in large type with our large print bingo cards, call each word twice and give residents a moment to find it. A box of chocolates or a single red rose makes a lovely prize. See more in our guide to bingo for seniors.

What are good Valentine’s Day bingo prizes?

For kids: heart-shaped erasers, pencils, stickers, mini stuffed animals, bubbles or a small bag of candy. For adults: a single rose, a box of chocolates, a heart-shaped mug, lip balm or a bakery gift card. Find more ideas in our bingo prize ideas guide.
