Quick answer
A 90-ball bingo ticket is the UK-style card: 9 columns and 3 rows, with 15 numbers and 12 blank squares. Each row has exactly 5 numbers. Column one holds 1–9, column two 10–19 and so on up to 80–90. A caller draws numbers 1 to 90, and prizes go to the first player to complete one line, then two lines, then a full house.

Most Americans know bingo as a 5×5 card with B-I-N-G-O across the top. In Britain, Ireland and Australia, bingo looks different: a long, short ticket with 15 numbers spread over 9 columns and 3 rows. If you’ve watched a British bingo hall on TV, heard “two little ducks, 22,” or have family from the UK, this is the game. These printable tickets let you play it at home.
How do you play 90-ball bingo?
A caller draws numbers from 1 to 90, and each game has three prizes.
- Print tickets from the generator at the top of this page. Each player usually plays one or more tickets.
- Call numbers 1 to 90 at random. A ball set, numbered slips or our bingo number generator all work.
- Players dab matching numbers. There’s no free space.
- First prize: one line. The first player to complete any full row of five numbers wins.
- Second prize: two lines. Play continues until someone completes any two rows on the same ticket.
- Third prize: full house. The game ends when someone marks all 15 numbers. This is the big one.
UK callers traditionally use nicknames: “Kelly’s eye, number one,” “two little ducks, 22,” “legs eleven.” Our bingo calls page lists them all.
What does a 90-ball ticket look like?
| Feature | 90-ball ticket |
|---|---|
| Grid | 9 columns × 3 rows (27 squares) |
| Numbers | 15 (5 per row) |
| Blank squares | 12 |
| Column 1 | 1–9 |
| Columns 2–8 | 10–19, 20–29 … 70–79 |
| Column 9 | 80–90 |
| Free space | None |
Numbers in each column run from smallest at the top to largest at the bottom. Read more about the game on our 90-ball bingo page.
How many tickets should I print?
In UK halls, tickets often come in strips of six, which together contain every number from 1 to 90 exactly once. At home, one to three tickets per player is plenty. For a party of 12, print 24 to 36 tickets. Every ticket from the generator is randomly generated.
90-ball vs 75-ball bingo
| 90-ball (UK) | 75-ball (US) | |
|---|---|---|
| Card | 9×3 ticket, 15 numbers | 5×5 card, 24 numbers |
| Free space | No | Yes |
| Prizes per game | 3 (line, two lines, full house) | 1 per pattern |
| Patterns | Fixed | Many (lines, shapes, blackout) |
| Where | UK, Ireland, Australia | US, Canada |
If your group prefers the American game, print classic 75-ball cards instead.
Tips for hosting a 90-ball night
- Call slower than you think. Players scan three rows across nine columns, which takes longer than a 5×5 card.
- Announce each prize stage. Say clearly, “We’re now playing for two lines.”
- Check claims by row. Read back the numbers in the claimed rows against your called list.
- Have three prizes per game, with the full house prize the largest.
Fun ways to play 90-ball at home
- British-themed night. Serve tea and biscuits, and have the caller use the traditional UK nicknames for every number.
- Quick-fire line games. Short of time? Play for one line only and start a fresh game straight away.
- Pub-quiz crossover. Between games, ask a quick trivia question; a correct answer lets a player dab one called number they missed.
- Long-distance family games. Relatives in the UK can play over a video call with the same printable tickets, so everyone uses the format they grew up with.

Frequently asked questions
How many numbers are on a 90-ball bingo ticket?
Fifteen. Each of the three rows has five numbers and four blank spaces, for 27 squares in total.
What are the winning patterns in 90-ball bingo?
There are three prizes per game: one line (any row), two lines (any two rows on the same ticket) and a full house (all 15 numbers).
What is a strip of six in 90-ball bingo?
